My great Grandfather, James Bell was the brother of Henry Bell who married Betsy Chrystal Duncan. They did indeed divorce because of adultress behavior with Frederick Haslam, while she was touring in the opera. I believe he was a musician himself. There was a harpist called Frederick Haslam performing around the same time as Betsy. "She was a naughty girl".
